Filter Underdrain

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

WTE provides different types of high-standard filter underdrain to meet the increasingly stringent requirements of water plants for filtered water quality. The underdrain system plays the role of carrying the filter media, backwashing water and air distribution, and can be engineered to any newly built or renovated filters. It can be used to increase the filter media depth due to its low-profile features and to improve the filtration efficiency and water quality; It is easy to be installed; it can optimize the efficiency of air -water backwashing and save  water/air consumption

SN-U underdrain

Patented SN-U double arc airbag underdrain is a low-profile system that provides greater media depth for retrofits, it offers maximum surface area to optimize filtration efficiency and high uniformity of water and air distribution. It is a durable and maintenance free system that requires no special installation tools.

Concrete Underdrain

The system  is incorporated air/water backwash nozzles, it is a cost-effective solution and are ideal for the new and  retrofit projects with advantage of easy installation, rigidity for the life, NSF certified.

Stainless Steel Underdrain

The system  is low-profile system and constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless-steel material. The engineered orifices between plates supports provide even, multidirectional air and water throughout the filter cell to ensure excellent distribution. The underdrain uses SS hardware for quick installation with long life.
