Project Engineer

WTE is seeking an engineer in training or professional Engineer to join our water group in Wuhan, China. This is a permanent full-time position.

You are responsible for the conceptual design during proposal phase and the development of the detailed engineering deliverables for water and wastewater treatment plants during the execution phase. As a project engineer you will work in a multidisciplinary team of Sales, Process, electrical, and project execution.
 

Job Responsibilities

· Preliminary design of process systems for water and wastewater treatment projects, including physical-chemical treatment and biological treatment plants;
· Develop and review design documentation as per project deliverable list such as process flow diagrams, P&ID, hydraulic profile, mass balance, civil guide drawings, Installation drawings, Equipment and instrumentation data sheets, functional description, pipe sizing;
· Review and evaluation of submissions provided by suppliers;
· Estimate costs;
· Participate in technical presentation and meeting with Clients;
· Occasional field work such as site inspections, equipment installation supervision.
 

Required Skills and Experience
· University degree in water and wastewater treatment or environmental engineering
· Knowledge of water and wastewater technologies: water chemistry, clarification, filtration processes, biological processes;
· You are creative an innovative, you are striving to offer the best technical solution to our Clients;
· You are rigorous and meticulous in your work;
· You show proven project management skills;
· You have strong sense of responsibility and teamwork;
· You have a certain level of English reading and writing skills;
· You are proficient in design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks ), and in Microsoft office suit, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
