TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The EcoMesh™ fine mesh screen is a unit that uses gravity or pressure difference to allow the liquid pass through a porous medium by mechanical filtration, while the solid particles are trapped to reach liquid and solid separation, it is the best way for the small and micro wastes removal in water treatment.

EcoMesh™ is manufactured in 316L stainless steel with a reinforced mesh for the separation of fine particles. It is full efficient thanks to their mesh between 10 to 1000 microns opening size, which can collect very small suspended solids.

EcoMesh™ is a continuous filtration system. When the influent enters the drum , the automatic control system will start the drive system and the backwash pump simultaneously. The drum rotates slowly, and the backwash pump draws out filtered water to backwash the screen. The flushed particulates is collected by a backwash water collection trough located inside the unit and discharged to the sewage system. Filtration proceeds continuously during backwash. The unit will stop automatically when there is no inlet water.
