TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The economical solution of high-rate clarifier (EcoHRC^®) is a multifunctional water treatment technology that combines powdered activated carbon (PAC) adsorption,biofilm media for biological treatment followed by rapid mixing, flocculation, settling ballasted with sludge recirculation or dense ballast in a single tank for efficiency and land savings. It can be operated in multiple modes including physical adsorption mode, biologically enhanced mode, ballasted flocculation mode and sludge recirculation settling mode.

WTE's patented EcoHRC^® Clarifier technology is a biological enhanced high-rate clarification incorporating a biomass contact step ahead of clarification that can turn polluted raw water and wastewater into clear water and exceed the required discharge standards.
